Do you love yourself?

Love shines a rosy glow on everything around it... illuminating the world in the sparkling light of acceptance and sharing... making clear the path of joy. Happy Valentine's Day ahead!
Do you have a sense of balance and belonging? Respect, responsibility for self, and feeling good are important values. People who love themselves shares that: • They tend to treat themselves well e.g. do things which nurture, strengthen, relax and comfort the body. • They see fun and enjoyment as a primary goal most of the time. • They acknowledge in mistreatment by others and let go. • They accept of their vulnerable feelings like sadness, fear, and anxiety. If they could not handle it, they seek for help. • They exercise regularly. • They are grateful for what they have now.
Do you love yourself? Check one: Do you love yourself? I am sure you replied “yes, definitely I love myself.” Do you really love yourself? I noticed that many people when things went wrong; they lose their world. Why does it happen? I believe they don’t love themselves as much as they thought.
Check two: Do you really love yourself?
How often do you look at the mirror? What do you see? Many people tend to notice all their flaws e.g. too wide hips, too short, fat stomach, big nose, etc.. They focus on what they dislike and they dismiss the whole of themselves.
Check three: Do you extend as much love to yourself, as you do to others? Have you ever looked deep into your own eyes when you said “I love you”?
The next time you are looking into a mirror, please look deep into your own eyes. How do you feel as you say “I love you?” Is it true? Do you feel like you are lying to yourself? Do you feel ridiculous?
